The 2020 Mercedes-AMG G63 Is Getting a Trail Package with Legit All-Terrain Tires You no longer have to sacrifice off-road ability in pursuit of better on-road performance when you buy an AMG G-wagen. Mercedes-AMG The Mercedes-AMG G63  is getting a new AMG Trail package for 2020. It adds special all-terrain tires wrapped around a new wheel design, as well as underbody protection and mud flaps. The package injects off-road chops back into the sportiest version of  the G-wagen . Earlier this week,  Mercedes-Benz  put out a massive press release detailing a number of changes to its lineup for 2020, consisting of trim reshufflings, new packages and options, and a few updated models. But there was one item that instantly stood out to us on scanning the document: For 2020,  the Mercedes-AMG G63  is getting what the brand is calling the AMG Trail package. And, man, is it awesome.
